Strive Adds 3,311 Bitcoin as Holdings Reach 32,773 BTC Ahead of Warrant Deadline

strive

Strive purchased an additional 3,311 Bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to 32,773 BTC, according to an announcement by CEO Matt Cole on October 13. The Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin treasury company also reported approximately $208 million in completed warrant exercises as investors approached the deadline to exercise their remaining warrants.

The company said about 15.3 million warrants remained unexercised. The warrants carry a $27 exercise price and expire at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on October 13. Each exercised warrant provides funds in exchange for newly issued Class A shares, potentially increasing the capital available for Bitcoin purchases.

Strive has expanded its Bitcoin treasury through repeated acquisitions in recent months. Its latest purchase highlights the role of equity-linked financing in the company’s strategy to accumulate Bitcoin. However, warrant exercises can also increase the number of shares outstanding, making the relationship between Bitcoin holdings and shareholder dilution an important consideration for investors.

The October 13 deadline marks a key point for Strive’s financing strategy, as the remaining exercises could affect its available capital and future Bitcoin acquisition capacity.

Why it matters

Strive's expanding Bitcoin treasury increases its exposure to BTC price movements, while warrant exercises may provide additional acquisition capital. Investors will also watch how new share issuance affects existing shareholders.
