Column Launches Four Financial Products With Instant Stablecoin Rails

Column

Column launched four financial infrastructure products on September 16, expanding its platform across stablecoins, card issuing, global banking, and multicurrency accounts. The U.S. bank said fintech companies can access the services through a single integration.

The stablecoin product connects USDC and USDT directly with Column’s banking ledger and U.S. and international payment rails. Column said customers can convert stablecoins into dollars instantly, 24/7, without prefunding or third-party intermediaries. The service supports Solana, Ethereum, and other major networks, while connecting with rails including ACH, FedNow, RTP, Fedwire, and SWIFT.

Meanwhile, Column’s other launches include full-stack card issuing, global accounts for verified customers outside the U.S., and multicurrency accounts with local payout capabilities. The company said its stablecoin infrastructure already handles tens of billions of dollars in annualized volume. The rollout positions Column to provide banking, payments, cards, and stablecoin infrastructure through one platform.

Why it matters

The launch could reduce the number of vendors fintech companies need for stablecoin payments and banking infrastructure. It also highlights growing integration between traditional payment networks and stablecoins.
