Broadridge Expands Digital Asset Platform to U.S. Wealth Managers

Broadridge Financial Solutions has expanded its digital assets platform to U.S. wealth firms, the company announced Sept. 14. The NYSE-listed firm said broker-dealers, registered investment advisers and wealth managers can offer cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities alongside traditional investments. The platform supports advisor-led and self-directed models through existing wealth-management systems.

The move follows Broadridge’s April launch for Canadian wealth managers and extends its broader tokenization strategy. Initial U.S. infrastructure partners include Anchorage Digital and Galaxy Digital, which provide custody, wallet and market-access capabilities. Broadridge said firms can integrate digital assets into existing trading, books-and-records, reporting and compliance workflows rather than maintain separate systems.

The expansion also builds on Broadridge’s DLX platform, launched Sept. 9 for tokenized markets. Its Distributed Ledger Repo infrastructure processes more than $351 billion in tokenized real assets daily, according to the company. Broadridge is positioning the combined infrastructure to support equities, funds, private assets and other tokenized instruments as institutional adoption grows.

Why it matters

The rollout could lower operational barriers for U.S. wealth firms adding digital assets. It also strengthens Broadridge's position in the growing institutional tokenization market.
